We always have some or other project running like planning new equipment, refurbishing old ones or strategising on chicken and Veggie gardens. Here is some of the projects listed with some photos of the progress.
Project Humble
Humble is 1 of 2 LDV's (Bakkie) that we use to get "The Job" done. This one is a 1990's Toyota Raider 2.7 - 4x4.
As visible in the pictures, the bakkie has worked hard over the years pulling caravan's, trailers, Generators, Sound van's and Mobile stages. The engine and some parts have failed and the bakkie is now in a process of being overhauled. The planning is to clean and recover the chassis, replace the engine and gearbox and other general maintenance tasks.
Please consider being part of this Project to complete the overhaul and get it back to work. Contact us here.

Chicken farming
We are also currently testing the water in raising chickens for eggs and breeding.
Veggie gardens
Food is not something that everyone has regular access to. Many people are used to always having food but not everyone is blessed in this way. ie: Many of us does not give buying groceries a second though but just do it. The people in our ministry has to scrape together whatever monies they can earn and be very carefull where and how much they buiy. Always looking for the cheapest possible prices in order to stretch the available money as far as possible.
We are planning on teaching people to make small gardens in their yards or whatever patch of ground is available (Not every family has space in the super small yards where they live).
To achieve this basic garden equipent and seeds etc is needed. We are also experimenting with Hydrophonics as an option of making food available.
Essential items
We more often than not need blankets, clothes and other items like stoves, fridges home furniture etc for people that is not in a position to provide for themselves.
Sometimes the items you may have is not in the best of conditions anymore but this is still good as we can sometimes repair items ourselves or have it repaired in order to provide an essntial item like a gas / electrical stove or small fridge to a family or person in need.
